Our Step into January’ campaign is all about getting active during January. It focuses on the benefits of getting active and how this can improve our mental health and increase feelings of wellbeing. Research shows that getting active can reduce anxiety and stress, combat low mood and increase self-esteem – contributing to feeling good on the inside and out.
We also know that for some people January can be a really difficult month, especially during the current Coronavirus pandemic and the 0dd last couple of years that we have all experienced. This is a great way to jump-start 2022 in a positive way, and support your local mental health charity.
Whether it’s a session at the gym, a 5k run or walk, vacuuming the car, or walking the dog – it all counts. We will be there to support you and keep you motivated every step of the way.
