World Mental Health Day 2021

Do one thing. Access information and support.

When you’re living with a mental health problem or supporting someone who is, access to the right information is vital.

We’re here when you need us most. Our Information Service is open 24-hours-per-day, 7-days-a-week to support you, your friends, family members or colleagues.

If you or someone close to you is struggling with poor mental health, please remember that we are here for you.

Our Information Line is available for anyone who wants information, advice or support with their mental health. Get in touch and we will signpost you to support within our organisation, or to further support in the community if you feel that would be better. You might be unsure if your struggling and just want some advice, or you may be worried about a friend or family member. No problem is too small for us – we’re here when you need us.

Call us on 01482 240133 24 hours a day. You can also email [email protected], text 07520 633447 or talk to us live using our online chat box (bottom right of this page).

Do one thing. Volunteer today.

We prides ourselves on the quality of our services that we provide to the community. We believe that this is rooted in the quality and skill of our staff and volunteers.

We have over 140 volunteers supporting with every aspect of the work that we do. From admin volunteers, events and fundraising volunteers, through to our trustees and front line volunteers – we really couldn’t do our work without them.

Our front line workers lead and support our group services, mentor and befriend people experiencing poor metnal health, support those who have lost someone to suicide, and help people striving to stay in work.

As an organisation, the support we offer is constantly growing and adapting, therefore so does our need for volunteers. Why not consider volunteering? Your time, could help us to change someone’s life. Find out more here.

Do one thing. Fundraise for us.

We rely on local people to support us to raise money to carry out our work. We’re really grateful for all the support we receive from the local community.

We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect, and we couldn’t do this without our fantastic fundraisers like you.

Every year, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem. We believe no-one should have to face this alone.

Planning an event or challenge?  Our fundraising pack is full of advice on everything from planning a successful fundraising event to spreading the word about your efforts. It may seem daunting, but we are with you every step of the way.
